🕯️ Imbolc – The Festival of Light
February 1

Imbolc (pronounced im-bolk) is the sacred midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. This Sabbat honors the first signs of life stirring beneath the frozen earth. It is a festival of purification, hope, and the spark of inspiration. Associated with the goddess Brigid, Imbolc invites us to tend the hearth within, bless our homes, and ignite creative energies as we await spring’s return.
🔥 Suggested Rituals & Activities:
Candle Lighting Ritual – Light a white or beeswax candle and speak intentions for clarity, healing, or creativity.
Brigid’s Cross – Weave or craft this symbol of protection and place it over your door or altar.
Home Blessing – Cleanse and anoint your front door, windowsills, and threshold with rosemary, salt, and citrus.
Seed Spell Jar – Fill a small jar with seeds, herbs, and a written intention to plant metaphorical and literal growth.
